How I Can Help

Breastfeeding Support & Latch Help

Struggling with a painful or shallow latch? Cara will assess your baby's positioning, oral anatomy, and feeding cues to help you find a comfortable, effective latch — for both of you.

Pumping Guidance

Whether you're exclusively pumping, building a freezer stash, or returning to work, Cara will help you choose the right equipment, establish a pumping schedule, and maximize your output.

Milk Supply Support

Concerns about low or oversupply are among the most common reasons families reach out. Cara will help you understand what's normal, identify contributing factors, and create a plan to reach your goals.

Weaning Support

When you're ready to wean — whether gradually or more quickly — Cara provides compassionate guidance to make the transition as comfortable as possible for you and your baby.

NICU & Special Circumstances

Feeding a premature or medically complex baby comes with unique challenges. Cara has experience supporting families navigating NICU stays, tongue ties, and other special feeding situations.

Virtual Consultations

Can't meet in person? Virtual lactation consultations are available for families throughout the DC/MD/NOVA region and beyond — same expert support, from the comfort of your home.
